Detectives make appeal after fire started in flat in Ballymena

Detectives in Ballymena are appealing for information and witnesses following the report of a fire at a block of flats in the Crebilly Road at 11.15pm last night, Thursday April 27th.


Detective Sergeant Lyttle said:


"Police received a report that the living room window of the property had been smashed and a fire had been started in the corner of the living room.



"Thankfully the fire did not spread and no-one was injured."


"Enquires are ongoing, and I am appealing to anyone who has any information about what happened, or who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area at the time, to call 101 and quote reference number 42 of 02/03/23."
