Danske Bank has confirmed that its new Ballymoney branch will officially open its doors at 12 High Street on Monday 24 November 2025 at 9.30am.

The announcement marks the latest stage in the bank’s investment in modernising local banking services in the town.

To enable the transition, the current branch—located only a few doors away—will close permanently at 12.30pm on Friday 21 November 2025.

The new premises will deliver the enhanced services first announced in September, including extended lunchtime opening hours and an additional exterior cash machine with auto-deposit functionality, aimed at improving convenience for both personal and business customers.

Branch Manager Elizabeth Graham said the team is eager to welcome customers to the upgraded facilities.

“Our new branch is really taking shape, and we’re looking forward to welcoming our customers and the local community to our new home. This investment reflects Danske Bank’s ongoing commitment to serving Ballymoney, offering a modern branch experience, enhanced services and improved facilities for both our customers and colleagues.

“The team will be on hand and ready to greet customers and assist with any of their banking needs.”

From Monday 24 November, the branch will operate Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 3pm.

Danske Bank confirmed that the current building will be placed on the market. The bank also continues to progress relocation plans for two further branches, with Coleraine and Lisburn set to move to new nearby locations in early 2026.
