Police appeal for information after man stabbed in Ballymena


Detectives are appealing for information, following a report of a stabbing incident in the Staffa Drive area of Ballymena in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday 31 August).

At approximately 1.20pm, a man aged in his 30’s was approached by a second man who proceeded to assault him and stab him in the leg.

He was taken to hospital for treatment for his injuries.

Enquiries are ongoing and police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference number 66 31/08/21.
