Cullybackey College mourns the loss of much-respected staff member

The staff and pupils of Cullybackey College, Ballymena, are mourning the death of a much-respected member of staff, Mr Allan Foster.

Mr Foster was described as a great “friend and colleague” and a number of students at the school, where Allan was employed as a Technology Technician for 11 years, commented how he always went over and above to help them with their projects.

Posting on social media, Mrs Emma Andrews shared the photo below and commented:

“Today our school community Cullybackey College was left devastated to hear of the sudden passing of our friend and colleague Allan Foster this morning. The unofficial Art Dept technician to Cullybackey Art Department and ourselves… even when he moaned and complained… and he did… he always came good in the end and secretly loved it! We have had so many laughs together and such a huge loss to our entire school community will always be felt. #youllneverwalkalone #workfamily
