Coleraine and Ballycastle Coastguard Teams were tasked on Friday evening (Friday 3 June) after reports that a person was trapped on a cliff face at Ramore Head, Portrush.
A spokesperson for HM Coastguard said:
“A rope rescue technician was lowered down the cliff face, securing the casualty. Both were winched to the top of the cliff and the casualty was thankfully unhurt.
“Thanks to the PSNI for their assistance at the incident.
“If you see someone in difficulty around cliffs, don’t hesitate and dial 999 COASTGUARD.”
