Storm Arwen to bring possible travel disruption going into weekend



The Met Office has issued an updated yellow weather warning for a seasonal storm expected tomorrow, Friday 26 November, across Northern Ireland.

Named ‘Storm Arwen’ the low-pressure system will bring high winds most of the UK, with the potential for some travel disruption locally.




The yellow warning will run from 9am on Friday to 6pm on Saturday.


Gusts will widely reach 55 to 65 mph in many coastal areas with the highest gusts in coastal parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland where gusts in excess of 65 mph are expected in some areas.
