As summer draws to a close, Translink is urging locals and visitors to take advantage of affordable bus and rail travel to explore Northern Ireland’s attractions before the season ends.


With a variety of ticket offers and simple journey planning tools, the public transport provider says there’s never been a better time to enjoy a spontaneous day out, a trip with family, or a solo adventure across Mid and East Antrim and beyond.

  • Family & Friends Ticket – £24: Unlimited day travel on all Translink services across Northern Ireland for up to two adults and four children.


  • Metro & Glider Family Ticket – £10: Unlimited day travel in Belfast on Metro and Glider services.



  • Bus Rambler Ticket – £10: Unlimited day travel after 9.15am on Ulsterbus, Goldliner, Metro and Glider services.


  • iLink Travel Card – £19: Unlimited bus and train travel across Northern Ireland, with discounts for children and yLink card holders.


  • 25% Off Day Return Travel: Available after 9.30am on Ulsterbus, Goldliner or train services.
