Broughshane LOL 503 serves up a Bumper 11th July Food Special ahead of Twelfth Celebrations

In the build-up to this weekend’s Twelfth of July celebrations, Broughshane LOL 503 is set to host a vibrant Bumper 11th July Food Special on Friday 11th July, promising a full day of food, music, and community spirit in the heart of the village.

The festive event, taking place at Broughshane Orange Hall, will kick off early in the morning with a hearty Big Breakfast served from 7:30am to 11:30am, with a suggested minimum donation of £7. In the evening, the focus shifts to the front of the Orange Hall where a Big BBQ will be held from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.

The evening barbecue promises a carnival atmosphere with live music, the rousing sound of Lambeg drums, and stirring performances from local marching bands.

Organisers at LOL 503 say the event is all about community, celebration, and good food.

“As many of you know, we in LOL 503 like our grub. So much so, that we have decided to have a Bumper 11th July Food Special, with a Big Breakfast on the 11th July morning and a Big BBQ in the evening to help everyone build the atmosphere for the upcoming big day,” a spokesperson said.

This double-serving of food and festivities offers locals and visitors a perfect opportunity to come together ahead of the traditional Twelfth parades, which commemorate the Battle of the Boyne and are celebrated annually across Northern Ireland.
