Bridgeview Nursing Home in Toomebridge has been awarded the prestigious title of Residential Care Home / Nursing Home of the Year at the 2025 Private Healthcare Excellence Awards, held at the Crowne Plaza in Belfast on 17 May.

The annual awards ceremony, which drew over 350 finalists and guests from across Ireland, celebrated outstanding contributions to private healthcare.

Bridgeview Nursing Home distinguished itself through its unwavering commitment to quality care, resident wellbeing, and exceptional staff engagement.

The home’s person-centred approach is driven by its loyal and experienced team of 88 staff members, who consistently go the extra mile to support residents and their families.

Director of Bridgeview Nursing Home, Patricia Casement, expressed pride in the team’s achievement, stating:

“We are absolutely thrilled to receive this award. It is a testament to the commitment of our team, who go above and beyond every single day to deliver care with empathy, respect, and professionalism.

“This recognition belongs to every staff member who makes Bridgeview the award-winning nursing home it is.”

The accolade acknowledges the home’s dedication not only to clinical excellence but also to nurturing a warm and supportive atmosphere that prioritises dignity and respect.

Echoing the director’s sentiments, Staff Nurse Ester Ali remarked:

“This award means so much to all of us.

“It reflects the hard work, compassion, and dedication that every member of our team brings to Bridgeview each day. We care about our residents, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see that commitment recognised.”
