Boomin summer weekend at Glenarm Castle as family festival returns with massive lineup
The organisers of one of Northern Ireland’s signature family festivals, CAMP DALFEST, have today announced the return of the much loved festival this summer.
Proudly supported by Mid & East Antrim Borough Council and Principal Sponsor BOOMIN, the game changing online property search, the festival will make a welcome return to the stunning grounds of Glenarm Castle on 17 and 18 July, albeit at a reduced capacity in line with Covid-19 regulations.
The weekender will feature some chart-topping artists including Clean Bandit (DJ Set), Joel Corry, Ella Henderson, Pixie Lott, The Undertones, Ryan McMullan as well as an eclectic mix of DJ’s, local bands, singers and songwriters.
The festival, previously known as the Dalriada Festival, will also host an array of exquisite local produce, street food, market stalls, storytelling, comedy as well as a variety of family entertainment including the UK’s Biggest Family Friendly Rave, RAVER TOTS which sold out venues across the UK in 2020.
Adrian Morrow, Managing Director of Glenarm Castle said:
“We were unsure whether we would be able to return with the festival this year and although we delivered a very successful virtual version last year, nothing beats the atmosphere and buzz from the real thing.
“We fully appreciate that we are still in the middle of this pandemic and have therefore taken the decision to host this year’s festival at reduced capacity. We will have strict procedures in place to ensure the festival is as safe as possible and we will be using every inch of our venue to ensure visitors have plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the great outdoors.
“We have secured a stellar line-up and look forward to welcoming families back to the grounds this July.”
Tickets for CAMP DALFEST go on sale this Friday, 4 June, at 9am via www.dalriadafestival.co.uk with limited camping packages, weekend tickets, and day tickets available.
