More than £15,700 — and counting — has been raised for Marie Curie End of Life Care following a sensational night of music, bingo and fundraising at Ballymena’s Tullyglass House Hotel.

Held on Saturday 2 July, the Bingo Music Bonanza brought together music lovers, bingo fancy and big-hearted donors for an unforgettable evening of entertainment, led by brothers, DJs Mark and Paul Ritchie, with live appearances from Stratto and Wee Rab.

The high-energy night featured sing-along classics from the 80s and 90s, rave rounds, dance-offs, and even a holiday prize as part of three thrilling rounds of music bingo.

Reflecting on the night, DJ Mark Ritchie said:

“What an outstanding atmosphere! From the moment the first song played, the room was alive with laughter, music, and that unmissable BINGO! excitement.”

He added:

“But the most important part? Together, we’ve raised an incredible £15,700 (and counting!) for Marie Curie End of Life Care. Your generosity will help provide vital care and comfort to those who need it most.”

In addition to the funds raised on the night, donations are still being collected through a dedicated JustGiving page, which has already brought in nearly £2,000 more.

Lots of smiling faces!

“We’ll keep the total open for a few more days — so there’s still time to give if you’d like to be part of something special,” DJ Mark added.

The evening at Tullyglass was described as one of “unforgettable fun”, blending nostalgia with purpose. From silly dancing to mega prizes, attendees were treated to an experience that combined entertainment and heartfelt giving.

“We sang, we danced, we cheered — and Tullyglass was the perfect setting,” said Mark. “And who knows… maybe there’ll be another Bingo Music Bonanza someday.”
