One of Northern Ireland’s most popular family friendly festival’s ‘Randox Presents Camp Dalfest’ is back at Glenarm Castle with a star-studded line-up on the 15th and 16th July.

Building on the success of last year’s sell out festival, the castle walls and grounds will reverberate to the sound of a number of huge headline acts, including pop heartthrob sensations The Vamps, Eurovision phenomenon Sam Ryder, ‘One Love’ Brit Award winners Blue, 90s superstar and kitchen disco phenomenon Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Scottish singer-songwriter KT Tunstall and the return of indie pop rocking trio Scouting for Girls.

Hailed as Northern Ireland’s premium festivals for the whole family, this year’s Randox Presents Camp Dalfest will also include an outstanding kids mini festival of entertainment, including a ‘Diaper Derby’, TikTok Party, McDonald’s Fun Football, Gaming Grotto and the famous ‘Raver Tots’ with child-friendly music and dance. Plus, a special appearance from global YouTube sensation ‘Blippi’.

Whilst the international headline artists will make their stellar appearances, Randox Presents Camp Dalfest prides itself on its unparalleled showcase of the very best of Northern Ireland talent who will also perform throughout the weekend.

Pete Snodden, from Cool FM, will be playing some of the biggest tunes on the main stage and Bellaghy girl Brooke Scullion will perform her 2022 Eurovision entry for Ireland, in addition to many up-and-coming local bands and artists set to play a host of stages, including an exciting set from The Florentinas (Gary Lightbody’s management company’s exciting new signing) and groovy local band Anna’s Number, who play the old grooves with a new energy.

From the Buck ‘n’ Bull Saloon in the Castle Courtyard featuring Live Music and  BBQ to a food and lifestyle hub in the Walled Garden, this unique festival continues to set itself apart with numerous music stages, an exquisite array of local produce, food and drink, street food, comedy, craft stalls, festival markets and a fun fair, making it a weekend with something for everyone to enjoy, all within the spectacular grounds of Glenarm Castle.

Speaking about this year’s festival, organiser Nigel Campbell said:

“In the days after our festival, the team and myself always ask the question; how can we better it next year? I am pleased to say that this year we have that question answered with the line-up of acts we have secured.

"From the many amazing household name performers and bands right through to a mix of new and local talent and a full programme of entertainment for all the family; we are beyond excited. We have worked tirelessly since last July and listened to your feedback and suggestions and believe you will not be disappointed this year."

He added: “I can go one step further and say this is our best roster of acts since the festival started which can be enjoyed by young and old. We pride ourselves in hosting a family focussed event and we would like to encourage families to come along and enjoy a weekend break at this spectacular setting with lots to see and do for all the family, where the breath-taking scenery and open spaces complements this quality festival.”

Nigel said it is great to have Randox as the festival’s headline sponsor and considers their association to be a ringing endorsement of this year’s event.
