A new chapter in the Yellowstone universe is set to unfold this spring, as fan-favourite characters Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler return in a brand-new series — and this time, the stakes are shifting far beyond Montana.
Dutton Ranch will premiere globally on Paramount+ on Friday, May 15, launching with two episodes and marking the start of a nine-part first season. The series will also air on the Paramount Network the same day at 8pm ET/PT, before continuing weekly.
A fresh start — and new dangers
The series follows Beth and Rip as they attempt to build a future together, leaving behind the shadows of Yellowstone. But their new beginning in South Texas quickly becomes a fight for survival.

Set against a harsher, more volatile landscape, the couple finds themselves up against a ruthless rival ranch determined to defend its empire at any cost. Themes of loyalty, revenge and survival drive the story, where forgiveness is scarce and every decision carries consequences.
Star power expands the Yellowstone universe
Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser reprise their iconic roles, joined by a high-profile cast that includes Academy Award nominees Ed Harris and Annette Bening.
The ensemble also features Finn Little, Juan Pablo Raba, Jai Courtney, J.R. Villarreal, Marc Menchaca and Natalie Alyn Lind, signalling a major expansion of the Yellowstone storytelling world.

Produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios, the series is created by executive producer and showrunner Chad Feehan. It is based on characters originally created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson.
A large executive production team supports the project, including David C. Glasser, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Christina Alexandra Voros, Michael Friedman, Cole Hauser, Kelly Reilly and Keith Cox.
Voros also directed multiple episodes, including both the premiere and the season finale, alongside directors Greg Yaitanes, Jessica Lowrey and Phil Abraham.
A bold new era begins
As one of the most anticipated spin-offs in the Yellowstone franchise, Dutton Ranch signals a shift in tone and setting — trading the familiar terrain of Montana for the unforgiving backdrop of South Texas.
With a new environment, fresh adversaries and the return of two of the franchise’s most compelling characters, the series promises a darker, more intense evolution of the story fans have followed for years.
