Ballymena man charged after public disorder in Clonavon Terrace

Detectives investigating incidents of public disorder in the Clonavon Terrace area of Ballymena earlier this summer have made an arrest.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland confirmed that a 35-year-old man was arrested on Friday, 15 August, and has since been charged with multiple offences.
These include riot, burglary, criminal damage and attempted arson.
The man is due to appear before Ballymena Magistrates’ Court today, Saturday, 16 August.
A PSNI spokesperson said:
“Detectives investigating public disorder in the Clonavon Terrace area of Ballymena in June have made an arrest. The man, aged 35, was arrested on Friday 15th August and has since been charged with a number of offences including riot, burglary, criminal damage and attempted arson.
“He is expected to appear before Ballymena Magistrates’ Court today, Saturday 16th August. As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.”
