Motoring enthusiasts, families and supporters of two vital mental health charities are set to descend on Ballymena Showgrounds this weekend as the Ballymena Charity Vehicle Show returns with one of its biggest events yet.
The popular community event, taking place on Saturday 6 June from 11am to 3pm, will transform the Showgrounds into a huge celebration of vehicles of every kind — from classic cars and modern performance machines to tractors, motorcycles, HGVs and vans — while raising funds for PIPS Suicide Prevention and Breaker Breaker, which supports mental health within the haulage industry.
With free admission for spectators, organisers say the event is designed to give local families and the wider community an enjoyable and affordable day out while backing two charities providing essential support services across Northern Ireland.
The Ballymena Charity Vehicle Show has steadily grown into a standout date in the local events calendar, attracting exhibitors and visitors from across the province and beyond. This year’s event is expected to once again draw large crowds to Ballymena Showgrounds, with organisers encouraging all types of vehicle owners to take part.
A major day out for vehicle lovers and families

Visitors attending the event can expect a huge variety of displays throughout the day, including:
• Classic and vintage cars
• Modern performance vehicles
• Vans and modified vehicles
• HGV trucks
• Tractors and agricultural vehicles
• Motorcycles and bikes
• Unique and specialist vehicles
Alongside the vehicle displays, the event will also feature food vendors, coffee outlets and trade stands, helping create a full family-friendly festival atmosphere at the Showgrounds.
Organisers say one of the biggest attractions of the show is the opportunity for enthusiasts to meet others who share a passion for motoring while showcasing the strength of Northern Ireland’s thriving vehicle community.

Whether visitors are serious car enthusiasts, families looking for something different to do at the weekend, or simply people wanting to support two important causes, organisers believe there will be something for everyone across the day.
Supporting two important mental health charities
A central focus of the Ballymena Charity Vehicle Show remains fundraising and awareness for two organisations working on the frontline of mental health support.
PIPS Suicide Prevention provides crisis intervention, counselling and suicide prevention services to people across Northern Ireland, while Breaker Breaker focuses on mental health support within the haulage and transport industry.
By making spectator entry free, organisers hope to encourage as many people as possible to attend, support the charities and help raise awareness of the services they provide within local communities.
The event is also expected to bring additional footfall and activity into the Ballymena area over the weekend, with exhibitors and visitors travelling from across Northern Ireland.
Vehicle owners still welcome to join

Advance vehicle entries are available through Eventbrite, helping organisers plan the layout and logistics for the day.
However, organisers have stressed that anyone deciding to attend at the last minute with a vehicle is still welcome to simply turn up and join the show.
All makes, models and vehicle types are being welcomed, with organisers aiming to create one of the most diverse vehicle displays seen locally this year.
The event will run from 11am until 3pm at Ballymena Showgrounds on Saturday 6 June 2026.
