Ballymena Charity Vehicle Show returns this weekend with full throttle fun for a great cause!

The much-anticipated Ballymena Charity Vehicle Show is back this Saturday, 7 June, at the Ballymena Showgrounds, promising a day packed with engines, entertainment, and support for two vital local charities.
The show is open to all types of vehicles — including cars, vans, HGVs, tractors (both vintage and modern), motorcycles, and even race cars — with a special area dedicated to stationary engine displays.
Enthusiasts and families alike are invited to enjoy a vast array of mechanical marvels, from beautifully restored classics to cutting-edge modern machines.
Public admission is free, with gates open to visitors from 11am to 4pm. Vehicle exhibitors are welcome from 9am, and tickets to display a vehicle can be booked via Eventbrite.
“Come join us at the Ballymena Showgrounds for a day filled with amazing vehicles and a great cause! Whether you’re a car enthusiast or just looking for a fun day out, this event is perfect for everyone,” organisers said.
“Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to see some incredible vehicles and give back at the same time.”
In addition to the impressive vehicle showcase, the event will feature a lively selection of trade stands, local craft stalls, food and coffee vendors, all highlighting the best of Ballymena’s vibrant community spirit.
Organisers say there’s already a large number of vehicles booked in, with clubs and individuals set to impress spectators throughout the day.
A competitive edge is also part of the fun, with trophies and awards up for grabs, including a club trophy for best group effort.
Supporting Local Charities
This year’s event supports two important causes in the local area:
Northern Ireland Air Ambulance, which provides critical emergency medical services across the region.
Gospel Bus Ministry Ballymena, which runs a local food bank and provides outreach services for the homeless and those in need.
Proceeds from vehicle entry fees and voluntary donations on the day will help both organisations continue their life-saving and community-focused work.
“Your attendance supports our local charity making a positive impact in our community,” added organisers.
