Ballymena woman Daria Gapska has been crowned Miss Northern Ireland 2022 at a prestigious gala event that was staged on Monday night (23 May) in the Europa Hotel, Belfast.
The 20-year-old former St. Patrick’s College pupil who is now studying to become a nurse, shone in the competition, firstly winning Miss Nu Delhi, before finally being awarded the top spot and receiving the coveted crown.
The Ballymena beauty was passed the crown from last year’s contest winner, Anna Leitch. Miss World 2022, Karolina Bielawska from Poland, also attended last night’s event in Belfast.
Daria will now go on to deservingly represent Northern Ireland at the 71st Miss World pageant.
