“I came across some of my late uncles photos from WW2. He was in 8th Army Desert Rats, and I have 2 photos of him and his mate. My uncle was Jim Purdie (from Crosshouse, Ayrshire, Scotland) and his mate was Bob McShane from #Ballymena. The photos below were taken in 1943 in Cairo.”
