Aer Lingus Regional reinstates summer flights from Belfast City Airport to Cornwall Newquay

Seasonal flights to Cornwall Airport Newquay with Aer Lingus Regional, exclusively operated by Emerald Airlines, have taken off from Belfast City Airport.

Seasonal flights from Belfast City Airport to Cornwall Airport Newquay have officially resumed for summer 2025, as Aer Lingus Regional – exclusively operated by Emerald Airlines – launches its popular twice-weekly service.


Operating every Wednesday and Saturday until 30th August, the route provides a convenient and direct link between the heart of Belfast and one of the UK’s top seaside destinations, known for its beaches, surf, and coastal scenery.



Katy Best, Chief Commercial Officer at Belfast City Airport, welcomed the return of the summer route, saying:


“Aer Lingus Regional’s seasonal service to Cornwall Newquay gives passengers seeking sun, surf, and seaside charm even more opportunity to enjoy one of the UK’s most beautiful coastal destinations this summer.


“The route is a firm favourite amongst holidaymakers and reflects the strong appetite for easy, direct connections from the heart of Belfast to top UK leisure spots.



“Combined with our prime location and speedy security screening, passengers flying with Aer Lingus Regional can expect a seamless and stress-free start to their holiday from Belfast City Airport.”


The service is part of Aer Lingus Regional’s growing presence at Belfast City Airport, which has become a key base for the airline’s domestic operations. In addition to Newquay, the carrier operates routes to Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Glasgow, Isle of Man (seasonal), Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Exeter and Southampton.
