MÆGDEN set for reopening in early 2022 in County Antrim

The ladies of Mini Maegden have announced their much anticipated return, bigger and better than ever, and ready to serve up their famous artisan grilled cheese sandwiches, and bonfire hot chocolate.

The news comes after the treasure that was a small caravan in a field near the Giant’s Causeway in the County Antrim countryside, was forced to close at the end of September this year.

Over the last four years Mini Maegden (pronounced Maiden) became a favourite stop for foodies from near and far to compliment a day out on the North Coast, and fans could not believe it when the imminent closure was revealed.

Back on 10 September, the ladies promised that the final day in the field would mark the beginning of something new - “still North Coast-based but in a different, less ‘mini’ and more permanent guise. Still all about the cheese.”

Now it is official - MÆGDEN is set to open on the main street in Bushmills.

MÆGDEN commented:

“A local shop (not just) for local people.

“Worst keep secret ever: we’ll be opening MÆGDEN 2.0 in BUSHMILLS early 2022 (at 119 Main Street), a whole mile away from the field. And it’ll look a lot better than this, we promise.”

The new store is getting glammed, and prepped for opening in early 2022.
