Police investigating a road traffic collision which took place in the Ballymena area yesterday, Thursday 7th October, are appealing for witnesses.
Inspector Watt said: “We received a report of the incident, which involved a bus and a dark navy coloured Audi A3, shortly before 9am.
“The collision occurred on the Cullybackey Road, a short distance from the village of Cullybackey.
“The driver of the Audi, a male in his teens, was taken to hospital following the incident, where he remains in a critical condition at this time.
“A number of minor injuries were reported amongst the passengers on the bus.
“Our enquiries are continuing, and we are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time, and witnessed the incident, to contact us. We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have dash cam footage.
