Emergency Services attend security alert in Antrim

Emergency Services were tasked to the Meadowlands area of Antrim on Monday afternoon (17 January).

Police received a call at around 4.30pm today warning of a suspicious object in the area of Meadowlands.

A spokesperson for the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) commented:

“Officers attended together with colleagues from NIFRS and conducted a comprehensive search of the area.

“Nothing untoward was found”.
