Antrim launches Halloween festivities for the whole family

Antrim is set to delight Halloween fans across Northern Ireland this October with the launch of its very own ‘Halloween in Antrim’ programme of frighteningly fun events.

Running from Sat 23 – Sat 30 Oct 2021, Halloween in Antrim will deliver a spooktacular series of family events, with something for everyone.

Designed in partnership with Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council and key sponsors - The Junction Retail & Leisure Park, Castle Mall Shopping Centre and Urban Events NI - the week long programme will offer a Halloween Cinema, Teddy Bear Picnic, Pumpkin Patch, Hay Maze, Harvest Markets and more in a jam-packed week of events.

Antrim’s largest shopping and leisure destination, The Junction, will continue its tradition of hosting exceptional NI small businesses at its harvest markets as well as a hay maze, spooky story time and family magic show.

Market Square’s perfectly positioned town-centre location, right next to Castle Mall, paired with its historic backdrop will host Antrim’s very own Pumpkin Patch.

The majestic Antrim Castle Gardens will be a scenic setting for an autumnal Teddy Bear Picnic featuring a pop-up farm, live music and entertainment. Antrim Lough Shore will also host an interactive Family Monster Trail and fancy-dress cruises on Lough Neagh.

Castle Mall Shopping Centre will be putting on an array of events including a Halloween Cinema, Face Painting, Slime Factory, Bakehouse Workshops and story times.

Thomas Ferris, events and operations manager at Urban Events NI said:

“Halloween in Antrim has events for everyone to enjoy, making use of the fantastic locations available around one of Northern Ireland’s most historic and scenic towns.
