Ballymena Methodist is hosting a fab Christmas Tree Festival & Outdoor Craft Fair at the beginning of December in the town.
Amid the challenges and difficulties of this year, the local church have organised the event as something positive and joyful for all the community, to be shared in and enjoyed together.
A spokesperson for the church commented: “The message of Christmas is goodwill and hope, and we trust through this event we will be able to convey that message in a very real way to those who attend and participate.
“Mid & East Antrim Borough Council have been very encouraging, warmly endorsing our plans. They appreciate the benefit of goodwill within our community and the importance of looking forward to something both enjoyable and meaningful, especially during these times.
“Please be assured that this event will be run in accordance with all relevant COVID guidelines. God willing this event will take place and give us all something to look forward to in these unsettling times.”
