Woman killed in Glenariffe Road crash named as Natasha Gove

A woman who died following a single-vehicle collision in the Glenariffe area on Saturday evening has been named as Natasha Gove.

Ms Gove, 31, was from the Ballyclare area. She died after the silver Ford Transit Custom van in which she was travelling was involved in a collision on the Glenariffe Road shortly before 9.10pm on Saturday, 18 July.

The other occupant of the van, a 41-year-old man, also died at the scene.

Investigation continues

Officers from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Collision Investigation Unit are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have dash-cam or other footage from the area around the time of the crash, to come forward.

A PSNI spokesperson said:

“Anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have any information which could assist with our investigation, including dash-cam or other footage, is asked to contact the Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting reference number 1423 18/07/26.”

The identity of the 41-year-old man has not yet been released. Police enquiries remain ongoing as investigators work to establish the circumstances that led to the collision.
