Fresh new titles…
Among the latest releases arriving on shelves this week are:
Medusa by Rosie Hewlett – a bold retelling of the Gorgon’s myth, giving voice to one of mythology’s most misunderstood figures.

New book club for romance fans…
Waterstone’s Ballymena has also announced the launch of a monthly Romance Book Club, with the first meeting scheduled for Friday 19 September at 7pm.
“No need to book, just come along,” organisers said.
“Bring a romance book you would like to discuss, then as a group we will decide on next month’s pick. This will be a chatty, informal event and a great way to make new friends. Everyone is welcome! (18+).”
Storytime for children…
The store continues to cater for young readers, with two storytime events planned.

On Saturday 13 September at 12 noon, staff will read Ava and The Acorn by Lu Fraser, while on Sunday 14 September at 3pm, the featured story will be Luna Loves Library Day by Joseph Coelho.
Both sessions are open to all families!
