Two men arrested after burglary in Ballymena town centre

Police investigating a burglary and attempted burglary at the Ballymoney Street area of Ballymena on Wednesday 12th July, have arrested two men.


It is understood a business that sells vaping products was one of the premises impacted.



A spokesperson for the Police Service of Northern Ireland said:


"Sometime between 8am and 8:55am, it was reported that entry was gained to a shop in the area. It was reported that a sum of money and other items were taken during the incident. 


"Entry was also gained to another premises in the area, but it is not believed that anything was taken.



"Two men aged 32 and 21 years old were arrested in relation to the investigation. Both men are currently in police custody at this time.


"Enquiries are continuing and police would appeal to anyone with any information, to contact them on 101 quoting reference number 556 12/07/23. Alternatively, you can submit a report online using the non-emergency reporting form via www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/."
