SATURDAY STORYTIME…
Our next Saturday Story time will take place on Saturday 16th July at 12pm.

We will be reading 'The Roar' by Eoin McLaughlin and Polly Dunbar. This is an adorable story with a great message about navigating big feelings and the importance of family. There will be some colouring in afterwards, we look forward to seeing everyone there, especially if you haven't been before.
WATERSTONES CHILDREN’S LAUREATE…
We are delighted to announce that the new Children's Laureate for 2022-24 is Joseph Coelho.

The Children's Laureate is awarded every two years to a renowned author who has made a profound impact in Children's Literature, past Children's Laureates include household names such as Jacqueline Wilson and Julia Donaldson.
Joseph Coelho is perhaps best known for his poetry, with titles such as 'Poems Aloud' which includes twenty poems perfect for reading aloud and performance. He aims to, “showcase new talent, and champion local libraries” during his two year tenure, and we look forward to seeing his positive impact.
