Students sail home for free this Christmas with Stena Line
NOW more than ever people are looking forward to Christmas and spending time with family and friends after months apart due to the global pandemic. So, to ensure as many families as possible can be reunited with loved ones, leading ferry company Stena Line has launched its Students Go Free offer!
‘Travel Windows’ are being introduced across the UK to help students make it home for Christmas and Stena Line has them covered. Students go FREE on all Economy or Flexi motorist fares when travelling home with another adult for their well-deserved Christmas break. That’s a saving of up to £35* single when they use offer code HOME.
Family members can travel across the Irish Sea to pick up students and help take them home whilst availing of this offer which is valid for travel from 3-9 December and must be booked by 27 November*.
The Students Go Free offer is available on any of Stena Line’s Irish Sea Routes including Liverpool – Belfast, Cairnryan – Belfast, Holyhead - Dublin and Fishguard – Rosslare.
In response to the pandemic, Stena Line has continued to invest in various safety measures aimed at ensuring ferry travel is the safest form of public transport. This includes increased cleaning measures, plenty of space for social distancing and ventilation systems operating with 100% fresh air.
Paul Grant, Trade Director (Irish Sea) Stena Line said: “Stena Line has a long history of reuniting loved ones and as the government has given students the opportunity to travel home for Christmas, we wanted to support them as much as possible by providing a great value offer and ensuring a stress-free journey home.
“Travelling with Stena Line also means that students can pack as much as they need to into their car without having to worry about any baggage charges or restrictions.
“The safety of our passengers is always a priority which is why we made lots of changes to ensure travelling with Stena Line is safe and enjoyable,” added Paul.
