Popular County Antrim Sunflower Field announces opening date

The massively popular Portglenone Sunflower Field has finally announced a definite opening date for 2021 which will be welcome news to sunflower lovers and selfie snappers.

Damian and Karen McAllister who own the field and host the fundraising spectacle every year have said that they will be open for everyone to visit from tomorrow (Saturday 21 August), from 10am - 8pm everyday. This year all funds raised from the Sunflower Field will go to a charity that is close to the family’s heart.

Karen commented:

“Our charity this year is Bowel Cancer UK in memory of my lovely Mammy who I lost 3 months ago to this disease. It was her wish that we open the field this year for this charity.”
