Police appeal to trace recalled prisoner believed to be in Northern Ireland

Recalled to prison: Jonathon White

Police are appealing for the public’s help to locate a recalled prisoner who is believed to be in Northern Ireland.

Jonathon White is wanted after having his licence revoked and being recalled to prison.

Police have urged anyone who knows where he is to contact them immediately, but stressed that people should not post information about his whereabouts on social media.

Mr White is described as being approximately 6ft 2in tall, of medium build, with a shaved head, clean-shaven face and blue eyes. Police say he also speaks with a Birmingham accent.

No further details about the circumstances surrounding his recall have been released.

Public asked not to comment online

In its appeal, the PSNI said:

“If you know where he is, please get in touch immediately. DO NOT leave a public comment with information on his whereabouts.”

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting Op Relentless reference number 78 27/06/26.
