The incident occurred shortly after 7.20pm in the Enniskeen area, where police say a man and a van were involved in a collision. The vehicle did not stop at the scene.
Inspector Campbell said:

“The van did not stop following the collision and made off from the scene. The man, aged in his 20s, sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision and currently remains in a critical condition in hospital.
“Our enquiries are ongoing, and I would as anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything, or who may have dashcam or other video footage which could assist, to contact us on 101, quoting reference 1346 of 24/11/25.”
Police are urging anyone with dashcam or mobile footage from the area between 7pm and 7.40pm to come forward. Detectives say that even minor details may help advance the investigation.
