Police are appealing to the public for assistance in locating 22-year-old Layla Hassan, a missing woman from Ballymena, who was last seen on 27 April 2025.
Layla, formerly known as Jodie Quilter/Price, was last seen in the Trostan Avenue area of Ballymena. Authorities now believe she may be in the Belfast area and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
She is described as being 5 feet 3 inches tall, of slim build, with shoulder-length black hair and green eyes.
In a public statement, the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) issued a direct appeal: “If you have seen Layla, know of her whereabouts or have any information, please contact 101 quoting serial 867 of 7/5/25. Thank you.”
The circumstances surrounding Layla’s disappearance have not been disclosed, but police are continuing their enquiries and are keen to trace her movements since she was last seen.
Anyone who may have seen someone matching Layla’s description in recent days — particularly in or around Belfast — is asked to come forward immediately. Even small pieces of information could be vital in helping locate her safely.
The public can also report information anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
