Police in Northern Ireland are appealing to the public for assistance in locating 32-year-old Raymond Lee, who is unlawfully at large after breaching the conditions of his compassionate bail release.

Lee had been granted temporary bail to attend a funeral on 19 June 2025, but has since failed to return to Maghaberry Prison, prompting a police search and renewed calls for public assistance.

The individual, who has already pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud by false representation and money laundering, was involved in a series of so-called “courier frauds” that took place during 2020 and 2021. He is currently awaiting sentencing.

Despite ongoing efforts to apprehend him, police have so far been unable to locate Raymond Lee. He is described as being approximately 5ft 11in tall, of slim build, with brown hair.

A spokesperson for the Police Service of Northern Ireland said:

“We are appealing to anyone who has seen him, or who knows of his whereabouts, not to approach him directly but to contact police on 101, quoting reference 918 of 19/06/25.

“Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous.”

In addition to urging the public for help, officers are also making a direct appeal to Raymond Lee himself to come forward:

“Police would also appeal directly to Raymond Lee to hand himself in.”

The public is reminded not to attempt to apprehend him and instead to report any sightings or relevant information to authorities immediately.
