Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy are opening the doors to their family life as never before, with a new documentary series following everything from a house move and major renovation to changing family roles and their children beginning to fly the nest.

The Crouches will launch exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide in 2027, promising a candid and often chaotic look at one of the UK’s best-known celebrity couples and their family.

For the former England footballer and model and presenter Abbey, it marks the first time they have officially invited cameras into their home life together for a series of this kind.

Peter, who previously worked with Prime Video on That Peter Crouch Film, admitted there could be a few moments the family regret allowing viewers to see.

He said:

“We’re so excited about our new series with Prime Video. I absolutely loved making That Peter Crouch Film, so much so that this time I’ve somehow managed to drag Abbey and the whole family into it!

“It’s a bit scary as it’s warts and all, but I’m sure you enjoy laughing with us (probably at us). There will be a lot of chaos and probably a few moments we’ll regret letting the cameras see, some ups and some downs, but it will be us.

“Our life should be lovely, calm and simple… it is not. Watch out Kardashians we are coming for you.”

The cameras arrive at a particularly eventful point for the family, with a major move already looming.

An offer has been accepted on the couple’s current home, which they designed and built from scratch — complete with eight-foot-tall doors to accommodate the 6ft 7in former footballer.

Their next move will see Abbey throw herself into an entirely new renovation project.

There is one complication: while the work gets under way, Peter is preparing to head off to the World Cup, leaving Abbey to contend with their children, pets and a building site.

The series will go beyond bricks and mortar, however, with cameras following the couple through a year of significant personal milestones.

Viewers will see the family navigating big birthdays, weddings and changing priorities, as well as the experience of their children gradually becoming more independent.

One of the central themes will be a shift in the dynamic between Peter and Abbey.

Having turned 40, Abbey has decided it is time to reshape roles within the family and put more of her own ambitions first.

After making sacrifices during Peter’s professional football career, the series will follow Abbey as she focuses on her own goals — and how Peter adjusts to that change.

It gives The Crouches a potentially more revealing dimension beneath the humour, documenting a couple entering a new stage of family life after years in which the demands of elite football helped dictate their priorities.

Coming to Prime Video in 2027

The Crouches is being produced by Workerbee, a Banijay UK label.

Rick Murray, Ben Hirsch, Ben Mitchell and Demi Doyle are executive producers, with Charlotte Taylor serving as series producer and Simon Draper as series director.

An exact release date has not yet been announced, but the series is due to premiere exclusively on Prime Video in 2027 across more than 240 countries and territories.

For viewers, the promise is a side of Peter and Abbey rarely seen before: away from football pitches, modelling shoots and red carpets, and instead amid children, pets, family milestones, a house move and the inevitable headaches of a major renovation.

And if Peter’s warning is anything to go by, keeping the cameras rolling may prove to be one decision The Crouches occasionally wish they could take back.
