The terrace of retail units at the Braidwater Retail Park in Ballymena has been sold after being on the market for a brief three months.
The busy retail location was put up for sale in October 2021 with an asking price of £4.5million by then owner Corbo Limited, established by Ballymena man Sam Morrison. The property developer also owns the Tower Centre in the town, having acquired it in September 2016.
Originally built around 1995, the property at the Braidwater Retail Park was marketed for sale as a ’high yielding open consented retail warehouse investment’, producing a net income of £471,535 per annum.
Last night (Sunday 13 February), speaking to Love Ballymena, Mr Ryan Walker, Director of Ballymena based property development and investment company Magell Limited, confirmed the recent purchase of the terrace at Braidwater.
Mr Walker led a consortium who also acquired the Fairhill Shopping Centre in Ballymena back in August last year.

The Pentagon Retail Park
The Pentagon Retail Park is also currently on the market with an asking price of £1.5million.
Built in 1998, the Pentagon Retail Park includes the towns’ McDonalds restaurant, which was previously sold off on a 10,000 year leasehold to the fast food giant.
