Road Policing Officers apprehended a driver in Ballymena today, Monday 22 November, whose modified vehicle was determined to be unsafe.
“Modifications can sometimes do more harm than good,” said one of the officers.
The PSNI stated that due to how the car has been lowered, all four tyres on this car had excessive wear with threads and wire exposed.
A police spokesperson commented:
“The suspension travel was unsafe, and modifications had also been made to the exhaust.
“The driver was prevented from travelling any further, was required to make repairs, and will be reported to the Public Prosecution Service.”
