A framed timeline tracing key dates in Ballymena’s development over the past 400 years has been presented to the Mayor of Mid and East Antrim Borough, Alderman Tom Gordon, by a women’s service club with more than eight decades of involvement in the town’s civic life.
The Inner Wheel Club of Ballymena contributed the timeline to the Ballymena 400 celebrations during a recent visit to the Mayor’s Parlour at the Braid.
Local club chair Patricia Perry made the presentation on behalf of members, who have taken part in anniversary events throughout the year.
