A County Antrim family have been left devastated after their much-loved pet, Roxy the Boxer, went missing from their home in Broughshane on March 6.
They are now appealing to the public across Northern Ireland in hopes of finding Roxy and discovering the truth of what happened, and are offering a cash reward for her safe return home.
Since Roxy went missing, the Millar family - desperate to find their pet, have searched far and wide and say it is like she “just vanished of the face of the earth.”

The Millar’s have owned Roxy since she was a pup, when she was bought for son Jack, and described her as another member of the family.
Heather Millar described the day she went disappeared just over three weeks ago. She said:
“I was in the house and Roxy was in the garden at our home on the Rathkeel Road in Broughshane. I was keeping an eye on her, but when I went out to call her in, she'd gone. I went out to find her in case she'd got onto the road.
“Normally she just sniffed about the field in front of our house but there was no sign of her at all.”

Heather shared how son, Jack, had taught and trained Roxy to do so many things and said she was such a smart dog.
“I even had lights above my bed and had taught her ‘lights off’, ‘lights on,’” said Heather. “So when I ask her, “Do you want the lights on?”, she immediately looked at them as if to turn them on, she even had progressed to lights in other rooms and knew to look up at them. She really was something else.”

Appealing to the community for help, the Broughshane woman said:
“We are heartbroken beyond words. It’s like one of the family is gone without trace.
“If anyone knows anything please please get in touch. Thank you to each and every person who has shared her missing, looked for her and messaged us.
“We will not give up until we find out where she went.”
