EasyJet flights to Palma de Mallorca take off from Belfast City Airport
Northern Ireland holidaymakers have more summer travel options as easyJet restarts its popular Palma de Mallorca service from Belfast City Airport.
Belfast City Airport has officially unveiled its summer 2025 schedule with the return of easyJet’s twice-weekly service to Palma de Mallorca, operating every Monday and Thursday.
The seasonal route offers travellers from Northern Ireland added convenience and flexibility for planning their summer getaways.
“This returning service remains a firm favourite with local holidaymakers and further demonstrates easyJet’s commitment to providing great value flights to a range of popular destinations from Belfast City Airport,” said Katy Best, Chief Commercial Officer at Belfast City Airport.
“Since taking off in 2021, easyJet has shown impressive growth and we’re delighted to see the partnership continue to flourish. Coupled with our unbeatable location in the heart of Belfast and our speedy security times, passengers travelling with easyJet this summer can look forward to a smooth, convenient, and enjoyable start to their holiday.”
The service reconnects Belfast with one of the most sought-after summer destinations in Europe. Often dubbed the ‘pearl of the Mediterranean’, Palma de Mallorca offers visitors a wide variety of holiday experiences, from peaceful coastal resorts to lively nightlife and historic city breaks.
From Palma Airport, travellers can quickly reach popular resort towns including Palma Nova, Santa Ponsa, Magaluf, Paguera, Alcudia, and Puerto Pollensa, making it an ideal base for family holidays, couples’ escapes, and solo travellers alike.
Ali Gayward, UK Country Manager for easyJet, expressed her enthusiasm for the relaunched route:
“The restart of our summer route from Belfast City to Palma provides our customers in Belfast with continued choice for their summer holidays. As the largest airline in Belfast and Northern Ireland, we remain committed to offering great value fares and more choice when they fly with us.”
The airline continues to strengthen its presence at Belfast City Airport, expanding its network of routes to both domestic and European destinations. Seats to Palma de Mallorca and other summer hotspots are now available to book via easyJet.com or the easyJet app.
As demand for leisure travel grows, the return of this key route marks a significant boost to Northern Ireland’s air connectivity and underlines the strategic importance of Belfast City Airport as a gateway for local holidaymakers.
