Ballymena's new skatepark will be officially opened this Saturday (24 September) and to celebrate Mid and East Antrim Borough Council have organised the 'People's Park Skate Jam'.
Organised in association with Rawee Skate School, be prepared for awesome demos with some amazing talent, plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action, and prizes up for grabs!

• 12:30pm - 12:45pm | Skate Demo – Be amazed by the talent

• 1:30pm - 2:10pm | Under 16 Skate Jam
• 2:10pm - 3pm | Open skate
• 3pm - 3:30pm | Hippe Jump
• 3:30pm - 4pm | Open skate
• 4pm - 5pm | Over 16s Skate Jam
• 5pm | Prize Giving
The new Skate Park at People's Park is designed to cater for all of the main disciplines of wheeled sport such as skateboard, BMX, scooter and inline, along with disabled access requirements.
The facility is suitable for all age and skill levels, featuring a mix of street and transition elements with suitable flow between areas.
