Disabled woman in her 60s left ‘very upset’ after window smashed at Ballymena home

A disabled woman in her 60s has been left “very upset” after a window was smashed at her Ballymena home in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
A family member told Love Ballymena the woman, who has lived in the area for many years, is currently in hospital and was not at her Lewis Park home in the Ballykeel II estate when the damage was caused.
The family member said the local resident has nevertheless been left very upset by what happened at her home.
Police appeal for witnesses
Police said they received a report at around 3am on Tuesday, 6 October, that a window had been smashed at the house.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses and are particularly interested in any suspicious activity seen in the area during the hours before the damage was reported.
Police said:
“We would appeal to anyone who might have seen any suspicious activity in the area between the hours of 10.30pm and 2.30am, or who has any information – including any CCTV or doorbell footage – to contact officers via 101, quoting reference number 120 of 06/10/26.”
