Co. Antrim man sentenced for drug offences at Antrim Crown Court

A 44-year-old man from County Antrim has been sentenced for a series of drug-related offences following a search of his property in April 2021.


Shaun Gray appeared at Antrim Crown Court today, Thursday 29th May, where he was handed a two-year custodial sentence, with one year to be served in prison and the remaining year on licence.



The sentencing follows a police investigation that began on 19th April 2021, when officers from the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) executed a search warrant at Mr Gray’s home address. During the search, a number of items were seized which were linked to the supply and possession of illegal drugs.


According to Detective Sergeant Moore:


“On April 19th, 2021, following a search at the home address of Shaun Gray, a number of items were seized relating to the supply and possession of drugs.


“Today, Thursday, 29th May, Mr Gray was sentenced to a number of offences including being concerned in the supply of a class A, class B and class C drugs, possession of class B drugs and possession of criminal property, namely money.”



Sergeant Moore added:


“The Police Service of Northern Ireland remains committed to robustly and proactively pursuing those involved in drug supply, at all levels, arresting them and bringing them before the courts.
