Thousands of pounds are expected to be raised for Alzheimer’s Society this summer as Clarke prepares to bring back its hugely popular Charity Car Show to Ballymena — with organisers promising the biggest and most ambitious event yet.

Now entering its third year, the growing community event has become one of the standout local motoring showcases in the area, attracting families, car enthusiasts and supporters from across Northern Ireland.

This year’s show will take place on Saturday 27th June 2026 at Clarke HQ on Raceview Road, Ballymena, with organisers already confirming a line-up of rare and iconic vehicles expected to draw major crowds.

Among the headline attractions announced so far are a DeLorean, a green Ferrari Enzo and a Lamborghini Countach, with further vehicles still to be revealed in the coming weeks.

Organisers are also hopeful that the Ferrari F40 — widely regarded as one of the standout attractions from last year’s event — will make a return appearance.

Growing event with a bigger purpose

While the cars are expected to attract huge interest, the event’s core mission remains fundraising for Alzheimer’s Society, Clarke’s chosen charity partner for 2026.

The company says the annual show has become its flagship charity fundraiser, helping support research, care and frontline services for people living with dementia and their families.

The cause carries growing urgency across the UK, with dementia now recognised as the country’s biggest killer. More than 76,000 lives were claimed by the condition in 2024 alone, while the number of families affected continues to rise.

For many local families across Ballymena and Mid and East Antrim, dementia care and support services have become an increasingly important issue as the population ages and pressure grows on health and care systems.

Cars, food, raffles and family atmosphere planned

The four-hour event will run from 10am to 2pm and is expected to combine high-end motoring displays with a family-friendly festival atmosphere.

Visitors will be able to:

• View a collection of rare and performance vehicles

• Enjoy food and refreshments on site

• Browse local stall vendors

• Take part in a charity raffle

• Watch the best-in-show competition

Public parking will be available via Silverwood Business Park, with accessible parking also provided.

Entry to the event costs £10 per adult, while children under 12 can attend free of charge.

For car owners wishing to exhibit vehicles, entrant registration is available through Eventbrite. Early bird entry costs £25 until 20th June, rising to £30 on the gate.

‘The community spirit gets stronger every year’

Michael Clarke, founder of Clarke, said the event has continued to grow well beyond expectations since it first launched.

“The Car Show has grown into something we’re genuinely proud of,” he said.

“Every year the cars get more spectacular, the turnout grows and the community spirit gets stronger.

“We’re honoured to be supporting Alzheimer’s Society this year — it’s a cause that touches so many lives, and we’re determined to make as big an impact as we can.”

The event has increasingly become a notable date in the local summer calendar, blending charity fundraising with a showcase of vehicles rarely seen together in Northern Ireland.

With organisers teasing further vehicle announcements in the weeks ahead, interest is expected to build quickly as the June event approaches.
