Police in Larne received a report of a burglary in the Balfour Avenue area of Whitehead in the early hours of this morning, Sunday 15 August.
Detective Inspector Lenaghan said:
"The householder called police around 1.15am to report that a man had broken into their property and was still at the address.
"Officers attended and arrested a 34 year old man on suspicion of burglary. He is currently in custody, helping us with our enquiries."
