Police ANPR Interceptor Team stopped two cars today, Thursday 11 August, in the Ballymena area, suspected of being involved in a number of high value thefts from retail premises across Northern Ireland.
Officers are understood to have stopped both vehicles outside Broughshane.
A spokesperson for the Police Service for Northern Ireland said:
“A number of exhibits were seized from the vehicles and officers from Police Fermanagh & Omagh, and Police Mid & East Antrim are now progressing the investigation.
“Both drivers were also issued Fixed Penalty Notices in relation to unrestrained children in the vehicle.”
