Former Tesco Express in Ballymena could soon be turned into a church meeting and outreach facility

A former Tesco Express situated on Church Street, Ballymena, could soon be turned into a church meeting/outreach facility.
A planning application that will come before Mid and East Antrim Council within the next few weeks could see a temporary change of use for five years. The applicant, Ballymena Gospel Hall, says that they want to establish a presence within the town centre.
Since Tesco vacated the premises on March 2015, there has been no long term tenant at the prime trading location.
