Appeal for information after burglary at business premises in Portglenone


Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a burglary of a business premises in the Main Street area of Portglenone. Inspector Reid said:


“It was reported at approximately 12.30pm on Tuesday August 31st that entry had ben gained to a business during the night. The alarm went off at the business at 3.40am. The rear door had been forced open as well as a door to a store room. “Our enquiries are continuing and we are appealing for anyone with information who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or have information about this incident to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 661 31/08/21.” If someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
