A bumper Sunday night of new entertainment kicks off on RTÉ

If you’re wondering how to fill that glitter ball sized hole in your Sunday night viewing, after the series finale of Dancing with the Stars, then look no further!


RTÉ has got you covered this Sunday with not one, but four new series' kicking off from 6:30pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.


From comedy capers with pranksters Doireann, Donncha and Carl to emotional trips down memory lane with Brendan Courtney we have something to suit all television tastes this weekend.   


Raised by the Village – 6:30pm

Hosted by Brendan Courtney, the beloved series invites viewers to witness poignant memories and profound revelations from eight well-known Irish personalities as they revisit the places that have shaped their lives.


Featuring in this series are Today's Maura Derrane, Irish writer Paul Howard, former Liverpool and Ireland striker John Aldridge, Former Tánaiste and Labour Party leader Joan Burton, Musician Steve Wall, Singer Tony Allen and Social Justice campaigner Fr Peter McVerry.   


In the first episode Brendan meets with actor Eilish O’Carroll. Renowned for her role in Mrs. Brown’s Boys, Eilish O’Carroll courageously revisits the homes that bear witness to her pre-fame struggles, offering a glimpse into the trials of domestic abuse and self-discovery.

Everything will be recorded on our hidden cameras. But how will people react when they realise they’ve been set up? It’s fun for all the family on The Full Irish Hidden Camera Show
