The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has launched a public appeal to help identify six individuals believed to be connected with a series of disorderly incidents and attacks on police officers in the Ballymena area since Monday, 9 June 2025.

In a statement issued this evening, Tuesday 17 June, police confirmed that they are seeking to speak with six persons of interest as part of an ongoing investigation into the unrest, which has resulted in several confrontations with law enforcement.

“Can you identify the following individuals?” police asked the public.

“Police would like to speak with these persons, in connection with our ongoing investigation into a number of incidents of disorder and attacks on police officers since Monday, 9th June 2025 in the Ballymena area.”

The PSNI is urging the individuals involved to come forward voluntarily. At the same time, they are asking for assistance from members of the public who may be able to identify the individuals or have relevant evidence.
